Marrok the werewolf

Pros:
- Don't have to make anything, very easy to see out of costume.

Cons:
-Hard to make a head small enough without looking funny with human eyes.




TAXIDERMY: Look out of the eyeducts

Lutalo the Cape Dog, and Ikaua the Jaguar

Pros:
- Realistic, Many colors and sizes available

Cons:

- Sometimes hard to see out of holes at eyeducts.




PLASTIC FROM BOWLS (or other plastics): With reticulated foam or Sunglass lenses for pupils

Sgt. Benton the Aardwolf, and Dizzy the Cat

Pros:
- Relatively easy to make, and customize

Cons:

- Sunglass lenses tend to fog up
- Some find reticulated foam hard to see out of.





MESH (Plastic or Metal) - Painted

Kira the Cat

Pros:
- Easy to make

Cons:

- Usually Toony, Not easy to make look realistic.
- Can look 'flat' and not 'alive'.




LUCITE PLASTIC WITH LENSES

Pros:
- Can get very realistic looking eyes, great for seeing out of.

Cons:

- More difficult to make than other types. (See Legend's site for step by step instructions)





MESH (Plastic or Metal) - with printed mylar

Legend the Gryphon Bard

Pros:
- Can look more realistic than painted mesh.
- Can easy add 'smears' of color within the mylar.

Cons:

- Hard to get mylar cut perfectly round. Have to buy ink jet printer mylar.
- Should use plastic dome to cover (or plastic from cheap champagne glasses)

- Looks realistic

Cons:
- Slightly difficult to look correct on some heads.
- Tends to fog up.
