They sell various items, apart from their own line of Special Effects
Contact Lenses. There are some nice ones here, like the Exotic Feline,
seen in Babylon 5. Some are of a single color and some that actually GLOW!
For a current price list of the contact lenses, call them.

Other than the usual assortment of contacts sold to the general
public, they also sell colored lenses. Some of the prices are fairly
reasonable, going from $40 up to $140.
Says Tephra Adularia: These don't impress me that much as far as designs go, the colors are kind of flat, but they also will do your design on the lenses.

Says Tephra Adularia - There's some freaky stuff here, and they will do
your own designs. I've talked to Dr. Cassel and they will do custom
contacts on toric lenses (the ones those of us with astigmatism have to
have). They also work with your own eye doctor to make sure the
prescription and size of the lenses are correct. Personally the fact
there's a doctor you can contact directly and their insistence on working
with your own doctor makes these folks my first choice when I'm ready to
get my contacts.
Freaky is right! Some interesting contact lenses are here. The only caveat here is that the only person to get the pricing on the lenses is a licensed medical professional.

They have fairly nice contact lenses, used by a few costumers out there. The nice thing is that they can easily be available in your area, as they have a listing of where they're sold. You still have to have an eye exam before you get one, though. However, if you want to get them cheaply, wait til around Halloween. After that, the price goes back up.
No price list for them, though you will have to click on the "Where To Get 'Em" pulldown selection.

99.98 - Online chats - IRC, etc
===========================
AnthroChat (use ports 6667, 7000, 4400)
(for example on mIRC and other clients, /server [servername] [portnumber]
would be /server irc.anthrochat.net 6667). You can leave off [portnumber],
and the client will connect to the default port.
- irc.anthrochat.net (similar to the now-defunct irc.yiff.net,
a 'rotary' that finds a server for you to connect with)
- irc.furnet.org - all use ports 6667 and 7000
Common IRC ports are 4400, 6660-6669, 7000, and 8888, though not all will use it. Use the /links command to find out what other servers there are. This listing may give the server location.
However, due to the actions of some who have tried to do and have done channel takeovers, DDOS/DOSed (Distributed Denial of Service attack) the servers and individual channel members, etc., some channels have become registered users only. You will need to get registered via Nickserv. These particular events happen very infrequently. You will know what is happening when someone starts talking about it and/or strange things start happening.
/msg nickserv help - this will give you a help utility
You will need to use the register command to register your nick and password that you wish to use. When you login, you will need to use the identify command to identify yourself and get into a registered-only channel. You can also use;
/msg nickserv help [command]
This will get you help on that command and how to use it.

99.99 - Cheap ways of doing things, keeping costs low
===============================================
From: Robert King
On October 8, I went to Consanguinity and was able to spend 6 hours picking Janet Moe and Jeff Berry's brains for costuming tech. (Jeff Berry has 20 years experience in Costumes and Special Effects and spent many years as head of tech for the Guthrie Theater) Jeff and Janet are notorious for doing excellent costumes on the extreme cheap.
Here are some notes I took during that time:
GENERAL
Plaster of paris is Alkaline and should never harden against skin. Hydrocal is not Alkaline, but use LOTS of Vaseline as a release agent or you'll lose a lot of hair. Alginate is best, but tricky to use. Expensive kinds harden real slow, or you can use a dozen tiny batches of fast hardening dental alginate.
Baby Oil is good for an after the fact release - use a baby feeder syringe to deliver in hard to get to places.
Look for the Ben Nye Student Makeup kit.
Get a BIG tackle box.
Surgical adhesive is good for skin attach - buy at Medical supply houses. Don't forget Surgical adhesive remover!
Spirit Gum and Spirit Gum Remover may be traditional, but it is BAD for the eyes and watering eyes mess up makeup.
Crazy glue is NOT FOR SKIN!!!
For casting, get Plasticine Clay (not modeling clay) at Art Supply houses--this is same as children's clay and stays soft forever.
Vaseline is the UNIVERSAL MOLD RELEASE
WANT SILICONE APPLIANCES?
Get Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating. Silicone based. DON'T let it touch
your skin when wet - nasty solvents - But it is great for making little
multi-use appliances.
For single use appliances: THICK liquid Latex - Model Railroad stores! $8.50 for a 16oz. (.45 kg) can (NH3 - ammonia)
Also, you can get NH3-FREE THIN liquid latex - use as a first skin in molds, around eyes----Norcostco locations around the country.
To make cheap Foam Latex, take liquid latex and whip it in a blender. This takes away much of its strength. Also, it will settle.
For Makeup with latex:
You can use acrylic on skin 99% of time - look for "non-toxic" label.
Artists Gauche is also good on appliances.
Get an AIRBRUSH - look at hobby/Model RR stores - $50 gets you a powerful tool. Good for adding highlights and shadows to fur!
